Bio

Chris Murphy, ATC, LAT, is in his fifth year back at Pima Community College as an Athletic Trainer. He is originally from Tucson, AZ and earned his Associate's Degree in Science from Pima. He attended Northern Arizona University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Science.

Murphy has 14 years experience as an Athletic Trainer. He worked at Pima from 2005-2006 and also interned with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2005. He went on to work at Arizona Western College from 2006-2011 and came back to Southern Arizona where he worked at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, AZ from 2011-2015.

Murphy received the Vice President's Award at Arizona Western College in 2011 and was honored with the National Athletic Trainer's Future Leaders Award in 2009.
