Aztecs baseball's Porchas named All-Region

Pima Community College baseball player Enrique Porchas (Kofa HS) received recognition from the Arizona Community Conference Athletic Conference on Monday as the post season teams were released.

Porchas, a freshman infielder, was selected second team All-Region I, Division I. He batted .308 this season and was fourth in the conference with 18 doubles. He also led the Aztecs in at-bats (169), hits (52), runs (37) and walks (32). He finished with two home runs, 23 RBIs and seven steals.

The Aztecs finished the 2018 season at 21-31 overall and 11-29 in ACCAC conference play.
