Kicker Avila selected WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week

Pima Community College football kicker Jaime Avila (Marana HS) received praise for his efforts in the Aztecs win at Glendale Community College.

Avila, a freshman kicker, was named WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. He went 3 for 3 in field goals and 3 for 3 in extra points. He scored a total of 12 points in the game.
The Aztecs defeated the Gauchos 30-13 last Saturday to even their record at 1-1.
The Aztecs will hit the road again on Saturday to play at Phoenix College. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
