Bio

Hometown: Tucson, AZ
Education: Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Connecticut (1998).
Coaching Experience: Coach Rogers was an Assistant Coach on the Salpointe Catholic High School varsity football team (2002-2007, 2011-2015). He helped coach the team to the state championship in 2013 where Salpointe went undefeated. Coach Rogers spent one season as the Head Freshman Coach and one season as the Head Junior Varsity Coach.
He was an Assistant Coach on the USA-Arizona Gridiron All-Star Football Team in Australia (2003). Coach Rogers was also selected to be an Assistant Coach for the Southern Arizona vs. Northern Arizona All-Star football game (2003).
He was the Defensive Coordinator for the Freshman football team at Tucson High School (2010).
Playing Experience: Coach Rogers was captain of the University of Connecticut football team (1998) where he led the team to their first and only 10-win season. He averaged 100 tackles a season his junior and senior years.
Coach Rogers played two seasons of professional Arena/Indoor football, leading his team to the championship game in his first season.
Highlights: Coach Rogers was the recipient of the Dr. Charles E. Waring Football Scholarship for dedication to Scholarship, Athletics and Community Involvement (UCONN).
Personal: Married to Brandy Rogers with four children: Taylor, Tanna, Tayn and Jake.
