Aztecs men's basketball falter in second half, fall at Cochise College

The Pima Community College men's basketball team (11-4, 5-2 in ACCAC) had its six-game winning streak snapped on Saturday in Douglas.

The No. 15 ranked Aztecs fell to Cochise College (13-2, 5-2) 96-83.

The Aztecs led 44-39 after the first half but were outscored 57-39 in the second half.

Sophomores Deion James (Empire HS) and Damon Dubots each contributed with double-doubles. James finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds while Dubots had 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Aztecs will host No. 6 Phoenix College on Wednesday at the West Campus gym. The game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
