Aztecs men's basketball drop road game at Glendale CC

The Pima Community College men's basketball team (14-8, 8-6 in ACCAC) dropped an ACCAC conference road game on Wednesday at Glendale Community College.

The Aztecs lost 94-87 to the Gauchos (14-8, 9-5). The Aztecs led 49-45 after the first half but were outscored 49-38 in the second half.

Sophomore Deion James (Empire HS) finished with a team-high 25 points while freshman Isaiah Murphy (Cienega HS) scored 16 points. Sophomore Damon Dubots had 15 points and freshman Alize Travis contributed with 14 points.

The Aztecs split the regular season head-to-head meetings with the Gauchos. Pima won 108-96 last month at the West Campus gym.

The Aztecs will be back on the road on Saturday when they play Division I team Eastern Arizona College at 7:30 p.m. in Thatcher.
