Aztecs men's basketball's balanced attack suffocates Chandler-Gilbert CC

The Pima Community College men's basketball team (19-2, 11-2 in ACCAC) avenged one of its losses on Saturday as the Aztecs earned a road victory at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (14-7, 7-6).

The No. 7 ranked Aztecs defeated the Coyotes 100-91 as the Aztecs had seven players score in double figures. The Aztecs suffered their first loss of the season to the Coyotes 98-94 in overtime back in November.

Freshman Jeremiah Bailey and sophomore Isaiah Murphy (Cienega HS) led the way as they each scored 17 points. Sophomore Keven Biggs (Cienega HS) had 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks while sophomore Ilunga Moise (Raymond S. Kellis HS) had 14 points and six rebounds.

Freshman Robert Wilson (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished the game with 13 points and eight rebounds and freshman Abram Carrasco (Cholla HS) had 12 points. Sophomore Alize Travis contributed with 11 points and seven assists.

The Aztecs will be back on the road on Wednesday when they play at Glendale Community College at 7:30 p.m.
