Gage improves in second round but Aztecs men's golf struggle at NJCAA Championship

The Pima Community College men's golf team completed the second round of the NJCAA Division I National Championship on Wednesday at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, KS.

The Aztecs struggled as they closed out the day with a team score of 328 putting their two-day total at 640 (312-328). They are in 19th place in the team standings.

Freshman Colton Gage (Cienega HS) produced the best round of the day for the Aztecs as he shot a five-over par 77. He bounced back after shooting an 85 in Tuesday's round.

Sophomore Nick St. Clair (Higley HS) closed out his round with a seven-over par 79 for the day and has a score of 160 (81-79).

Freshman Cooper Cordova (Mountain View HS) shot an 86 and has a two-day score of 161 (75-86) while sophomore Jonah Daniels (Chaparral HS) is at 162 (73-89).

The Aztecs continue play on Thursday in Garden City, KS.
