Player of the Year Valenzuela signs to San Diego State University

Pima Community College men's soccer player AJ Valenzuela (Desert View HS) signed his national letter of intent to continue his education and collegiate career at the Division I level.

Valenzuela, a midfielder, signed to San Diego State University Aztecs.

He was named first team NJCAA All-American, first team 2017 United Soccer Coaches All-American and ACCAC Conference Player of the Year. He led the Aztecs to a third place finish at the NJCAA Division I Tournament while he played and started in 23 games.
