Soccer forward Gaona signs to Ottawa University-Arizona

Pima Community College men's soccer player Julian Gaona (Tucson HS) signed his letter of intent on Thursday to continue his collegiate career and education.

Gaona, a sophomore forward, will play for Ottawa University-Arizona starting next fall.

Gaona was named first team 2017 United Soccer Coaches All-American and was selected second team All-ACCAC/Region I. He played and started in 26 game this season with 16 goals and eight assists.

Gaona helped lead the Aztecs to a third place finish at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament and a 19-5-3 record.
