The Pima Community College men's soccer team (11-2) rallied from an early deficit to earn the win on the road.
- The No. 6 ranked Aztecs defeated Paradise Valley Community College 5-3 on Saturday in Phoenix. The Aztecs trailed 1-0 scored three unanswered goals in the first half to take a 3-1 lead at the break. Pima netted two in the second half to close it out.
- Sophomore Hugo Kametani scored two goals in the 42nd and 70th minutes. Freshman Nico Walschburger had two assists; one was on Kametani's second goal and the other was on freshman Alberto Villegas' (Flowing Wells HS) goal also in the 70th minute.
- Sophomore David Silva finished the game with three saves.
- The Aztecs swept the Pumas in the two regular season games. Pima won 8-1 last month at Kino
The Aztecs will be back at Kino North Stadium on Tuesday when they host Glendale Community College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. The Aztecs beat the Gauchos 5-1 last month in Glendale.
