Jahara's two goals, Contreras's two assists help Aztecs men's soccer halt Glendale CC

The Pima Community College men's soccer team (4-1-1) bounced back on the road at Glendale Community College on Saturday.

• The No. 2 ranked Aztecs earned a 5-0 shutout win over the Gauchos.
• Sophomore Yuki Jahara scored two goals. He put the Aztecs up 2-0 with his goal in the 15^th minute and netted the final goal of the game in the 75^th.
• Freshman Jacob Contreras (Ironwood Ridge HS) assisted in back-to-back goals. He assisted in freshman Seung Eon Kim's goal in the 51^st minute to make it 3-0 and freshman Kyoji Hata's goal in the 57^th minute.
• Sophomore Alec Nguyen (Sahuaro HS) scored the game's first goal in the 12^th minute with an assist from fellow sophomore Eric McDonald.
• The defense gave up just three shots on goal to the Gauchos (0-5). Sophomore Nils Roth had two saves and freshman Juan Suarez (Desert View HS) had one save.

The Aztecs begin ACCAC conference play on Thursday at Paradise Valley Community College. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
