Aztecs men's tennis beats Paradise Valley CC

The Pima Community College men's tennis team (2-1) beat a short-handed Paradise Valley Community College team on Thursday at the West Campus Aztec Tennis Courts.

  • The Aztecs won the match 4-0. Sophomore Chris McDaniels (Tanque Verde HS) won his No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-3 while fellow sophomore Beau Boyer (Cibola HS) earned a shut out win 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Freshman Oscar Aguilera played at No. 3 singles and won 6-1, 6-1.
  • The No. 1 doubles team of Boyer and Aguilera shut out the Pumas 8-0.

The Aztecs will hit the road on Thursday when they play at Mesa Community College. The match will begin at 1:30 p.m.
