NJCAA All-American and Region I Champion Donovan Henderson signs to Indiana Tech

Pima Community College men's track & field athlete Donovan Henderson signed his letter of intent to continue at the four-year university level.

  • Henderson, a sophomore jumper from Bonney Lake, WA, signed to Indiana Institute of Technology, an NAIA school in Fort Wayne, IN. The Warriors compete in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
  • He became a two-time NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention athlete after taking third in the Triple Jump at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor National Championships. He was also crowned the NJCAA Region I champion in the Long Jump.
  • In 2021, Henderson earned NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention after he placed fifth in the Triple Jump at Outdoor Nationals. He was a 2-time All-Region and All-ACCAC student-athlete in the Triple Jump.
