Softball utility player Gentry signs to Eastern New Mexico University

Pima Community College softball player Sierra Gentry will return to the NCAA Division II level as she signed her letter of intent to continue her education and collegiate career.

Gentry, a utility player, signed to play at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM.

She was selected third team All-ACCAC as she batted .408 and led the Aztecs with seven home runs and 33 walks in 52 games played. Gentry also had 37 RBIs, 15 doubles, 35 runs scored and 58 hits in 142 at-bats. She threw 61 innings off the mound and had a fielding percentrage of .944. She commited just two errors on the season.

Gentry played her freshman year at West Texas University, an NCAA Division II school in Canyon, TX.
