The Pima Community College softball team (33-8, 20-2 in ACCAC) extended its winning streak to 24 games on Saturday after playing an ACCAC conference doubleheader at Scottsdale Community College (16-18, 12-14).

Freshman LHP Jazmyne Waddell (San Manuel HS) earned her second nod as ACCAC Division I Pitcher of the Week as she threw 12 innings last week, giving up four earned runs with three strikeouts. Pima Community College softball pitcher Jazmyne Waddell (San Manuel HS) was recognized by the ACCAC conference for the third time this season.

Freshman Talia Martin homered in the 8th inning and freshman Nevaeah Bracamonte threw the final one and two-third innings to help the Aztecs Softball prolong their 22-game winning streak after sweeping Yavapai College 13-3 and 11-9. The Pima Community College softball team (31-8, 16-2 in ACCAC) secured its second straight 30+ win season on Tuesday as it extended its winning streak to 22 games after beating Yavapai College (10-17, 10-10) in Prescott.

Sophomore Mallory Zylinski-Wrobel finished the day 4 for 6 with six RBIs and a run scored while freshman Jazmyne Waddell was also 4 for 6 with two RBIs and three runs. She also picked up a win in the circle as the Aztecs won their 20th straight game after sweeping Arizona Western College 8-7 and 12-2 (5 innings). The Pima Community College softball team (29-8, 16-2 in ACCAC) has produced the longest winning streak in the last 20 years of school history as it picked up a big sweep over Arizona Western College (23-13, 15-5) in a doubleheader between two ACCAC Division I programs.

Freshman Jessica Thompson (Tanque Verde HS) gave up one earned run on two hits with eight strikeouts to get the win in the second game while freshman Cheyanne Ortiz was one of five Aztecs to hit home runs on the day as Softball won their 18th straight game after sweeping Mesa Community College 8-3 and 15-1. Sophomore Mina Chacon (Tucson Magnet HS) and freshman Stephany Montoya (Kofa HS) combined to go 9 for 13 with 15 RBIs and nine runs scored as the Aztecs Softball team won their 16th straight game after sweeping GateWay community College with 42 runs (21-1 and 21-6). Sophomore Camila Zepeda was selected ACCAC Division I Player of the Week while freshman Jazmyne Waddell (San Manuel HS) was named ACCAC Division I Pitcher of the Week for the week of Mar. 10-16.
