Johnson signs to play at Benedictine University at Mesa

Pima Community College women's basketball sophomore Bailey Johnson (Tucson HS) signed her national letter of intent on Thursday at the West Campus gym.

Johnson, who was the key back-up to Sydni Stallworth (Palo Verde HS) the last two years, signed to continue her collegiate career at Benedictine University at Mesa, an NAIA school in Mesa, AZ.

She played in 29 games this season and averaged 2.5 points per game. During her time at Pima, she helped the Aztecs take third place at the NJCAA Division II tournament and earned a second place finish in the Region I, Division II tournament.
