Pima Community College women's basketball player Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) earned a title from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association that has never been bestowed upon a Pima women's basketball player.

Nakai, a freshman guard, was named to the 2018 WBCA Two-Year College Coaches' All-American honorable mention list on Wednesday.

She was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Year, first team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II last week. She scored 14 points with six assists in Pima's 99-59 win over Glendale Community College on Tuesday.

The Aztecs will play No. 1 seed Mesa Community College on Saturday in the NJCAA Region I, Division II finals. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
