Pima Community College women's basketball player Bryanne Olson (Pusch Ridge Christian HS) signed her letter of intent on Sunday to continue her education and collegiate career at the NCAA Division II level.

Pima Community College women's basketball player RyLeigh Long signed her letter of intent to continue her education and collegiate career.

Aztecs women's basketball sophomores and fellow Walden Grove High School graduates Briana Gamillo and Rhianna Bortoli signed their letters of intent on Monday. Pima Community College women's basketball players and Walden Grove High School graduates Briana Gamillo and Rhianna Bortoli signed their letters of intent to continue their education and collegiate basketball careers at the four-year university level.

Sophomore Shauna Bribiescas (Dobson HS) signed her letter of intent to the University of Hawai'i at Hilo, an NCAA Division II school out of the Pacific West Conference. Bribiescas had 13 double-doubles this season and was named second team NJCAA All-American. Photo by Raymond Suarez

Pima Community College women's basketball player Shauna Bribiescas (Dobson HS) signed her national letter of intent on Thursday to continue her education and collegiate career.

Sophomore guard Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) signed her national letter of intent to the University of Nevada, an NCAA Division I school out of the Mountain West Conference in Reno, NV. Pima Community College women's basketball player Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) signed her national letter of intent to continue her education and collegiate career at the NCAA Division I level.

Sophomores Shauna Bribiescas (left) and Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) were selected NJCAA All-Americans. Nakai earned the first team nod for the second straight year as she broke the Pima scohool records in points and assists. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team had two representatives on this year’s NJCAA Division II All-Americans list as the teams were released on Monday.

The Pima Community College women’s basketball team was in a battle in its final game of the 2018-19 season to close out the NJCAA Division II Tournament.

Freshman Alyssa Perez (Marana HS) was a major contributor off the bench with 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists as the No. 6 seeded Aztecs women's basketball team kept their season alive with a 110-90 upset victory over No. 2 North Iowa Area Community College. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (23-12) extended its season for one more game as it dropped 110 points on Thursday in an NJCAA Division II tournament consolation game.

Sophomore Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) scored a game-high 32 points with eight rebounds, six steals and four assists but the second quarter doomed the Aztecs in their 82-68 loss in the quarterfinals. Time ran out on the Pima Community College women’s basketball team on Wednesday in its NJCAA Division II Tournament quarterfinal game.

Sophomore Shauna Bribiescas (Dobson HS) scored 12 of her 16 points in the fourth quarter as the Aztecs rallied to beat Lake Michigan College 81-79 in the opening round of the NJCAA Division II Tournament. Bribiescas had her 12th double-double as she also grabbed 11 rebounds. The Aztecs play Kansas City Kansas Community College on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. (CT); 4:00 p.m. (MST). The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (20-11) advanced to the NJCAA Region I, Division II finals on Tuesday after holding off a late rally from Chandler-Gilbert Community College (16-15).
