The Pima Community College women’s tennis team had one singles and two doubles teams advance in their respected consolation flights on Tuesday after the third day of the NJCAA Division I Tournament.

The Pima Community College women’s tennis team completed play at the Region I Championships on Wednesday at the Paseo Racquet Center in Glendale.

The Pima Community College women’s tennis team took care of business in the first day of the Region I Championships on Tuesday at the Paseo Racquet Center in Glendale.

Sophomore Emma Oropeza (Nogales HS) played two close sets but beat Kelly Slattery at No. 1 singles 7-6, 6-4. The Pima Community College women’s tennis team (7-1) closed out the regular season with a shutout win on Tuesday over Paradise Valley Community College.

The Pima Community College women’s tennis team (2-0, 2-0 in ACCAC) upset its second ranked opponent as it nearly blanked No. 21 Mesa Community College on Tuesday at the West Campus Tennis Courts. The Aztecs defeated the Thunderbirds 8-1.
