Aztecs volleyball rallies to take final two sets to beat Edmonds CC

The Pima Community College volleyball team (2-5) was back in action on Friday in the first day of the Scottsdale Classic.

The Aztecs defeated Edmonds Community College (WA) in a tight four-set match (25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 25-23) handing the Tritons their second loss of the day. They fell to South Mountain Community College in four sets earlier in the day.

The Aztecs will play three matches to close out the invitational on Saturday. They will play Benedictine University at Mesa at 8:00 a.m. followed by Ottawa University (AZ) at 10:30 a.m. They close out the day against Glendale Community College in a non-conference match at 2:30 p.m.
