Volleyball All-Region and All-Southern AZ standout Robinson signs to Pima

The Pima Comunity College volleyball program signed its seventh recruit for the 2018 season.

Emily Robinson, a 5-10 opposite hitter from Cienega HS will play for the Aztecs beginning next fall.

She was named Second team AIA All Region and First team All Southern Arizona. Robinson led the Bobcats to a 31-10 overall record as she finished the season with 267 kills, 279 digs, 33 aces, 28 blocks and 13 assists in 110 sets played.

"Emily is a strong leader and a talented player, "Pima volleyball head coach Dan Bithell said. "I am exicted to see her bring a high level of determination and intelligence to our team. Emily is a great young person and I am thrilled to welcome her to the Pima family."

Robinson joins Ashlee Sappington (Mountain View HS), Grace Adams (Sabino HS), Kendall Deeter (Mountain View HS), Madi Nash (Sahuaro HS), Annie Pena (Sabino HS) and Mackenzie Welch (Willcox HS) on the 2018 squad.
