The Pima Community College volleyball program has its first two recruits for the 2019 season.

The Aztecs signed Bergen Campbell, a 5-10 outside hitter from Farmington, NM and Courtney Ely, a 5-8 opposite hitter from Ironwood Ridge High School.

Campbell finished her senior season with 233 kills, 260 digs and 28 blocks in 79 sets-played for Farmington High School.

Ely had 144 assists, 41 digs and 22 kills in 28 sets played for the Nighthawks in her senior season.

"We are extremely excited to have Bergen and Courtney sign and join the Aztecs family," Pima volleyball coach Dan Bithell said. "Both of them are exactly the type of student-athletes that thriove here at Pima, but propel us to success. Tremendous work ethic, great athleticism, high volleyball IQ and great character define both of these young ladies. We are so happy to call them Aztecs."

The Aztecs are coming off a second place finish at the NJCAA Region I, Division II Tournament.
