(UPDATED) Aztecs Volleyball Goes 2-1 at Chandler-Gilbert Tournament; Moseley and Duncan named All-Tournament

* Sophomores Kaylee Moseley (Marana HS) and Haley Duncan (Walden Grove HS) were named to the All-Tournament Team. Moseley finished with 22 kills and 13 digs in the two matches she played in. Duncan had nine kills (32 total attacks) and eight total block attempts in two matches played.

The Pima Community College volleyball team (9-7) played three matches on Saturday as part of the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Tournament.

  • The Aztecs muscled through to get the win over South Mountain Community College in four sets (25-20, 26-24, 13-25, 27-25).
  • The Aztecs rallied after being down 2-1 to beat Mesa Community College in the fifth set tie-breaker 25-18, 26-28, 21-25, 25-18, 15-12.
  • Pima dropped their final match of the day to host Chandler-Gilbert Community College in straight sets 25-13, 25-20, 25-21.

The Aztecs will get back to ACCAC conference play on Wednesday when they face-off with Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler. The match begins at 7:00 p.m.
