The Aztecs women's Cross Country team finished in 16th place at the NJCAA Division I National Championships with 446 points. It was the program's best finish since 2018. Freshman Reatta Danhof (Ironwood Ridge HS) was the top finisher in 65th place with a season personal-best time in the 5K at 19:56.20. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed at the NJCAA Division I National Championships on Saturday in Huntsville, AL.

The Aztecs Women's Cross Country team took second place in the NJCAA Region I, Division I final team standings with a score of 40 points. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed in the NJCAA Region I, Division I Championships on Saturday at Glendale Heroes Regional Park.

The Aztecs Women's Cross Country team competed at the Highlander Invitational on Saturday in Riverside, CA. They finished in 21st place in the final team standings with 650 points. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed in the Highlander Invitational on Saturday in Riverside, CA.

Freshman Reatta Danhof (Ironwood Ridge HS) earned second team All-ACCAC conference after she took 15th place at the ACCAC Championships. She finished the 5K (3.1-mile) race with a time of 20:56.0. The Aztecs took fourth place in the final team standings with 106 points. Photos by Raymond Suarez

The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed at the ACCAC Conference Championships on Saturday held at Central Arizona College.

Former Pima Community College track & field and cross country head coach and 2013 Pima Athletics Hall of Famer Jim Mielke passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86. He =led the men's cross country team to the 1980 NJCAA National Championship and was named National Coach of the Year. Pima Community College Track & Field and Cross Country coach and Athletics Hall of Famer Jim Mielke passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86.

Freshman Reatta Danhof (Ironwood Ridge HS) was the top Pima finisher in thw 2.5-mile race as she took eighth place with a time of 17:12.9 while fellow freshman Mariah Cruz (Mountain View HS) placed ninth at 17:40.7.
