Aztecs Men's Basketball drops game to Central Arizona College

The Pima Community College men's basketball team (5-2, 0-2 in ACCAC) fell in Saturday's game against Central Arizona College (6-0, 2-0).

  • The Aztecs lost 75-72 to the Vaqueros. Pima trailed 40-34 at halftime but outscored Central Arizona 38-35 in the second half.
  • Freshman Traivar Jackson finished with a team-high 19 points to go along with eight rebounds. Sophomore Daniel Moody (Walden Grove HS) posted a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds while freshman Itury Kitt (Eastpointe HS) finished with 14 points and five rebounds.
  • The Aztecs will hit the road for the next three games. They will play at Phoenix College on Tuesday 7:30 p.m.
