The Pima Community College men's soccer team (11-3-1, 11-3-1 in ACCAC) got back on track on Thursday at Kino North Stadium.

The No. 10 ranked Aztecs scored two late goals as they shut out Scottsdale Community College (3-8-3, 3-8-3) 3-0. The Aztecs were shut out by Phoenix College and Yavapai College in their last two games.

Freshman Tatsuma Yuki scored in the 85th minute with an assist from sophomore Hector Banegas (Rincon HS). In the 88th minute, Banegas was fouled inside the box and scored on a penalty kick to help seal the game.

The Aztecs got on the board in the 32nd minute on an own goal and led 1-0 at halftime.

The Aztecs held the Artichokes to just one shot on goal for the game. Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Anderson (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished the game with one save.

The Aztecs swept the regular season head-to-head series with the Artichokes. They won 2-0 last month in Scottsdale.

The Aztecs will be back on the road on Saturday when they play GateWay Community College at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix. The game will start at 4:30 p.m.
