Aztecs men's soccer honored at the Tucson City Council

The Pima Community College men's soccer team was honored at the Tucson City Council meeting on Tuesday.

The Aztecs, who won the NJCAA Division I National Championship on Nov. 17, was awarded certficates and medals from Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, Councilman Richard Fimbres and Paul Cunningham representative Ted Prezelski. Mayor Rothschild also declared Dec. 4 as "Aztecs Men's Soccer Day."

The Aztecs finished the season at 26-2 and went 14-0 in games at Kino North Stadium.
