Soccer midfielder Espinoza signs to Division I Dixie State University

Pima Community College men's soccer sophomore Abraham Espinoza (Saguaro HS) became the fourth Aztecs men's soccer player to sign his national letter of intent to a four-year university.

Espinoza, a midfielder, signed with Dixie State University in St. George, UT. The Trailblazers men's soccer program will move up to NCAA Division I competition starting next season.

Espinoza scored three goals with four assists in route to helping the Aztecs capture their first NJCAA Division I championship. He played and started in 26 games.

He is the fourth Pima soccer player from the championship team to sign his letter of intent. Defender Kaskile Zawadi (Cholla HS) signed to Fairleigh Dickinson University, Daniel Suazo (Tucson HS) signed to Adams State University and Jacob Pacheco signed with Siena College.
