Started at Pima: 2017
Playing Experience: Rangel played seven years locally with Tucson Soccer Academy, then continued with college soccer with Pima Community College for two years. Later, he moved to Columbia Missouri and played with NAIA power house Columbia College. Rangel played two years with FC Tucson, in the PDL and rostered one game with Houston Dynamo.
Coaching Experience: Rangel helped coach the 2018 Pima men's soccer team to the NJCAA Division I National Championship. He was part of the staff named United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division I Coaching Staff of the Year. He started coaching with Tanque Verde Soccer Club as a goalkeeper coach, also have been a part of the Men’s FC Tucson as assistant and goalkeeper coach. He is currently a part of FC Tucson Youth Academy as goalkeeper coach. He has been helping with the Olympic Development Program in Arizona as a goalkeeper coach.
