Coaching: Coach Armando Quiroz led the Aztecs from 2007-2018 and accumulated a record of 501-197-2. He led them to a third place finish at the 2013 NJCAA Division I National Tournament and a fourth place finish in 2012. The Aztecs claimed two NJCAA Region I, Division I titles and made the NJCAA Region I, Division I in 10 of the 11 years he was head coach. He was the head coach at Flowing Wells High School from 1999-2004 where he won three state championships. He was also the head coach at Eastern New Mexico University from 2005-2007 where he finished with a record of 46-37.
