Mich'l double-double earns her Player of the Week honors

Pima Community College women's basketball player Sierra Mich'l produced a great game last Saturday against Arizona Christian University Junior Varsity and received praise from the ACCAC.

Mich'l, a 6-1 freshman forward from Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas, NV, was named ACCAC Conference Division II Player of the Week.
Mich'l finished with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds (six offensive, six defensive) in Pima's 98-53 win over the Firestorm. She was only 1 for 4 from the field but 9 for 10 from the free throw line.
In four games this season, Mich'l is averaging 8.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.0 block.

The Aztecs open ACCAC conference play tonight at Cochise College. Tip-Off is set for 5:30 p.m.
