Aztecs women's soccer gets shut out at Cochise College

The Pima Community College women's soccer team (9-5-1, 6-2-1 in ACCAC) played in a tough battle on Saturday at Cochise College (8-4-2, 7-0-2).

  • The game was scoreless for the first 83 minutes until Apaches player Leticia Seabra scored in the 84th minute as the Aztecs fell 1-0 in a match between the top two programs in the ACCAC conference.
  • Sophomore Jorie Paul (Cienega HS) finished the game with seven saves. The Aztecs finished with 10 shots.

The Aztecs dropped to third in the ACCAC conference standings after the loss. They close out the regular season on Wednesday when they host Arizona Western College for "Family Night" at Kino North Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
