The Pima Community College Athletics department set new records with 11 of the 13 teams receiving NJCAA All-Academic recognition and a new school record of 74 student-athletes earning All-Academic distinction.

Sophomores Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS) and Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) signed their letters of intent to play at four-year institutions. Pima Community College women’s soccer players Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) and Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS) will move on to play at next level as they signed their respected letters of intent.

Women's soccer sophomore defenders Savannah Gutierrez (Tucson Magnet HS) and Alexus Mendez (Tucson Magnet HS) committed to continuing their educational and collegiate soccer careers at the four-year university level. Pima Community College women’s soccer players Savannah Gutierrez (Tucson Magnet HS) and Alexus Mendez (Tucson Magnet HS) have committed to continuing their education and collegiate careers at the next level.

The NJCAA has selected Tucson and Pima Community College to host the Division II Men's and Women's Soccer National Tournaments for the second straight year. The tournament will be from November 12-18.

The National Junior College Athletic Association has selected Tucson and Pima Community College to be the hosts of two upcoming national tournaments.

Pima Community College women’s soccer standout Meredith Scott (Walden Grove HS) will continue her collegiate career and educational opportunities at the NCAA Division I level.

Sophomores Caitlyn Maher (Catalina Foothills HS) and Bri Gerhart (Tanque Verde HS) were selected first team United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division II Women's Scholar All-Americans. Pima Community College women’s soccer players Caitlyn Maher (Catalina Foothills HS) and Bri Gerhart (Tanque Verde HS) earned another accolade for not just their play on the field, but efforts towards their academics.

Sophomore Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) and Caitlyn Maher (Catalina Foothills HS) were selected to the United Soccer Coaches 2022 Junior College Division II Women's All-American list. Two members of the Pima Community College women’s team earned national recognition from the United Soccer Coaches as it released its All-Americans list.

Pima Community College women’s soccer standouts Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS), Bri Gerhart (Tanque Verde HS) and Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS) earned national recognition for their play during the 2022 season as the NJCAA released its All-American list.

The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (13-2-1) added another layer to its Division II rivalry with Phoenix College (14-2-1) on Saturday as the teams battled it out in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Finals on Saturday in Phoenix.

Sophomores Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS), Bri Gerhart (Tanque Verde HS), Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS), Caitlyn Maher (Catalina Foothills HSA) and Alexus Mendez (Tucson Magnet HS) were named to the All-ACCAC and All-Region teams. The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (13-2) is advancing to its third straight NJCAA Region I, Division II Final after rallying to beat Scottsdale Community College (12-5) on Wednesday at the West Campus Aztec Field.

Freshman Adriana Pacheco (Cienega HS) finished the match with 13 saves but (3, Div. II) Aztecs Women's Soccer got shut out at (13, Div. I) Arizona Western College 2-0 on Tuesday in Yuma. The Aztecs close out the regular season at 12-2 overall and 9-2 in ACCAC conference play. The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (12-2, 9-2 in ACCAC) closed out the regular season on Tuesday in a tough matchup with undefeated Arizona Western College (12-0, 10-0).
