The Pima Community College volleyball team fell in its elimination match on Friday at Glendale Community College.
The No. 4 seeded Aztecs lost in three sets against No. 3 South Mountain Community College 25-21, 26-24, 25-21. The Aztecs fell in three sets on Thursday against No. 1 seed Glendale. The Aztecs finished the season with a 17-16 overall record.
Sophomore Jamie Holliday (Sahuaro HS) finished the match with 10 kills and one block while fellow sophomore Miranda Bingham had 24 assists, 17 digs and three aces. Sophomore Angel Chavez (Mingus Union HS) had 18 digs and one ace.
The Aztecs had seven sophomores and five freshmen on this year's squad.
