The Pima Community College volleyball team (12-13, 5-8 in ACCAC) fell in straight sets in Phoenix on Friday to South Mountain Community College (20-7, 10-3).
- The Aztecs lost to the No. 9 ranked Cougars 25-23, 25-17, 25-16. The Aztecs have lost five of their last seven matches.
- The Aztecs were swept in their regular season matches against the Cougars. They lost in four sets last month at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.
- The Aztecs look forward as they close out the regular season with two matches at home next week and solidify a spot in the NJCAA Region I, Division II playoffs.
The Aztecs will host Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
