The Pima Community College volleyball team added two more players to its 2020 class.

  • Kaylee Moseley, a 5-11 opposite hitter from Marana High School, help lead her team to the 5A state Tournament. She earned 5A Southern All-Region Honorable Mention after she played in 83 sets with 108 kills, 42 blocs and 47 digs.
  • "Kaylee is a physically gifted athlete that will impact our team immediately with her net presence and attacking," Pima volleyball coach Dan Bithell said. "Kaylee is determined and a great teammate. I am so excited to bring her to the Pima family.
  • The Aztecs also signed Deanna Almaguer, a 5-11 outside hitter from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM. She earned first team All-District 3A-5A.
  • "Deanna is a dynamic, energentic player that brings a high level of ball control and volleyball IQ. She is an incredibly hard worker and wants to constantly improve," Bithell said. "Seeing Deanna in an Aztec uniform can't come soon enough for us."
  • The Aztecs now have five players to their class, which includes Andrea Vigil-German (Ironwood Ridge HS), a 5-9 outsider hitter; Karla Soto (Nogales HS), a 5-8 setter and Haley Duncan (Walden Grove HS), a 6-1 middle blocker. Bithell is happy with the players he has brought in so far and is anxious to get to work.
  • "We have a long way to go and much work to put in before really thinking about the fall; however, being able to sign the five players we have at this point in the season speaks a lot to where our program is at, and hopefully headed," he said. "The depth and quality of the players we have signed at this point, is the best I've seen in my time at Pima. I couldn't be more excited for our future."
