Aztecs men's golf struggle in second day at NJCAA Nationals

The Pima Community College men's golf team fell from being tied for seventh place to 15th after the second round of competition at the NJCAA National Championship on Wednesday.

The Aztecs shot a team score of 329 and have a two-day total of 625 (296-329) at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, KS.

David Rauer (Cienega HS) finished the day with four-over par 76. He is tied for 33rd place with a total of 151 (75-76). Frankie Wu (Canyon del Oro HS), who shot a 71 on Tuesday, finished with an 81 which put him tied for 36th place with 152. Anthony Moncada (Tucson Magnet HS) is tied for 69th with a two-day score of 159 (72-87). Will Dennis finished 10-strokes over his first round total as he has a 166 (78-88). Aaron Ramonett (Tucson Magnet HS) finished with an 85 and has a score of 172 (87-85).

The third round of the NJCAA National Tournament will be tomorrow.
