The Pima Community College men's soccer team (1-0-1, 1-0-1 in ACCAC) had to come from behind for the second straight game on Saturday at Phoenix College.
Down 1-0, sophomore Robert Gorman (Nogales HS) (pictured) tied the game in the 33rd minute with his header goal off a corner kick assist from sophomore Angel Heredia. The score was tied 1-1 at halftime and neither team found the back of the net in the second half nor in the two-ten minute overtimes.
The Aztecs outshot Phoenix College 9-3 and freshman goalkeeper Taylor Anderson (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished with two saves.
This was the first meeting between the two teams since the Region I, Division I championship game which Pima won 2-1.
The Aztecs will be back at Kino North Stadium on Thursday when they host Arizona Western College at 7:00 p.m. This is a make-up game from Aug. 22.
