Aztecs Men's Soccer Nets 15 Goals in Win Over Chandler-Gilbert CC

The Pima Community College men's soccer team (4-0) was unstoppable on offense on Tuesday against Chandler-Gilbert Community College (0-2).

• The No. 2 ranked Aztecs scored 11 goals in the first half and went on to defeat the Coyotes 15-0.
• Sophomores Manuel Quiroz (Sunnyside HS), Francisco Manzo (Salpointe Catholic HS) and freshmen Emerson Ram (Ironwood Ridge HS) and Cristian Gutierrez (Cholla HS) each scored two goals.
• Sophomore Ulyssess Torres (Sunnyside HS) and Tarique Hall (Flowing Wells HS) each finished with three assists (Hall scored a goal) while freshman Jesus Virgen (Sunnyside HS) had two assists.
• The Aztecs held the Coyotes to no shots on goal. Sophomore Juan Suarez (Desert View HS) and freshman Aurelio Bernal (Cholla HS) each played a half and had no saves.
• The Aztecs will play at Scottsdale Community College on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
