Aztecs women's golfer Victoria Peña takes 6th place, earns second medalist honors at Estrella Mountain Invitational

The Pima Community College women's golf team played in its fourth tournament of the season on Friday and Saturday in the Estrella Mountain Invitational.

  • Freshman Victoria Peña finished in sixth place in the final individual standings and earned her second medalist honors of the season. She shot a season-best 87 in Friday's round at the Sundance Golf Course in Buckeye and finished with a season-best total of 180 (87-93).

The Aztecs will compete in the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational on April 17-18 at the Las Colinas Golf Course in Queen Creek.
