Littlewood and Chavez earn first place finishes at Gaucho Invitational

The Pima Community College women's track & field team competed at the Gaucho Invitational on Saturday at Glendale Community College.

• Sophomore Eliza Littlewood (Campo Verde HS) took first place in two jump events. She was tops in the high jump with a mark of 1.53 meters (5-feet, 0.25-inches). She also took first in the long jump with a winning mark of 4.95 meters (16-feet, 3-inches).
• Freshman Lucy Chavez (Bisbee HS) earned first place in the hammer throw with a best of 40.85 meters (134-feet).
• The Aztecs will compete in the Mesa Outdoor Invitational on Friday at Mesa Community College. Events will begin at 4:30 p.m. It will be the final regular season meet of the season.
