Jackie Trice earns NJCAA All-American honors in the Heptathlon

Pima Community College women's track & field athlete Jackie Trice (Williams Field) closed out competition in the Heptathlon on Friday and earned more accolades.

  • The Aztecs have secured 13 team points after the second day of competition.
  • Trice has earned five of Pima's team points. She took fifth place in the Heptathlon with 4453 points. She set a new personal-record and took first place in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.91 meters (19-feet, 4.75-inches). Her previous best was at 5.82 meters (19-1.25).

The Aztecs will close out competition at the NJCAA Division I National Championships on Saturday in Hobbs, NM.
