Arizona Athletic Trainer's Association (AzATA) Warren H. Lee Athletic Trainer of the Year Award; AzATA Hall of Fame; National Athletic Trainer's Association Bill Chisolm Professional Service Award.

Benjamin Carbajal is a native of Guanajuato, Mexico, and graduate of Bagdad High School in Bagdad, Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Arizona. 

Carbajal has been an athleteic trainer and adjunct faculty at PCC since 1979. throughout his career, he has been an advocate for health and safety issues within the National Junior college Athletic Association and the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference.
