Wide Receiver Cotton Named WSFL Player of the Week

Pima Community College sophomore wide receiver Jeff Cotton (Mountain View HS) was instrumental in helping the Aztecs snap a three-game losing streak last Saturday and he was rewarded for it.

Cotton was selected WSFL/ACCAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. He had five catches for 140 yards which included a 51-yard touchdown reception in Pima's 69-27 win against Phoenix College. He averaged 28 yards per catch.

He has 38 receptions with 661 yards and four touchdowns so far this season.

The Aztecs have two regular season home games remaining on their schedule. They'll play at Glendale Community College on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
