Bio

Years at Pima: Started as Volunteer Assistant coach in 2011

Education: Bachelor in Sociology, Finance (University of New Mexico); Master Degree in Counseling (University of New Mexico);

Coaching/Playing Experience: All American Track and Field Team; Speed Development Coach for Professional High School, Colliegate and Olympic athletes; as an athlete Coach Henderson qualified for two Olympic trials. USA Track and Field Masters National 100m Champion. Pan American Masters 100m, 200m gold medalist. Personal best 10.12, 10.09w for 100m, 20.32 200m, 45.93 400m.

Highlights:
Coach Henderson was a University of New Mexico graduate assistant track and field coach. He was a certified coach in sprints, hurdles and relays. He worked with Olympic silver and bronze medalists and coached NCAA sprinters that finished 1st and 2nd in 100m, 200m, at the Division III outdoor National Championships. He also coached 4 x 100m NCAA relay winners and NAIA National gold medalist for 100m and 200m. Henderson has coached 7 Academic All-Americans, 16 All-Americans and 22 conference champions. He coached 4 high school state sprint champions and received Sports Illustrated Magazine recognition for Track and Field.  He was the Vice-Chairman of NCAA/National Youth Sports Program Board of Directors (2002-2007). He was also Chairman of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival.
