The Pima Community College men's basketball team (11-6, 5-4 in ACCAC) dropped its third straight game on Saturday at Central Arizona College (10-7, 3-6).
The No. 19 ranked Aztecs (Division II) fell to the Vaqueros (Division I) 103-97.
The Aztecs held an 11-point lead early in the first half at 29-18 and maintained a 46-41 at the break. The Aztecs were outscored 62-51 in the second half and out-rebounded 57-44 for the game.
Sophomore Zach Evans (Hamilton HS) finished with a team-high 27 points while freshman Isaiah Murphy (Cienega HS) scored 15 points.
Sophomores Deion James (Empire HS), Damon Dubots, Emilio Acedo (Salpointe Catholic HS) and freshman Ilunga Moise (Kellis HS) all contributed with 11 points.
The Aztecs will host Mesa Community College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
