Rio Rico HS standout Arana signs to play for the Aztecs

The Pima Community College men's basketball team added another piece to its back court.

The Aztecs signed Herbie Arana, a 6'2" point guard from Rio Rico High School. Arana played on the Arizona Christian University Prosepect Development team last season.

Arana averaged 11 points and led the Hawks in rebounds, steals and blocks.

The Aztecs look to head back to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament after a runner-up finish last year. The regular season starts in October.
