Aztecs men's basketball All-Conference player Wilson signs to Arizona Christian University
Pima Community College men's basketball player Robert Wilson (Salpointe Catholic HS) signed his letter of intent to continue at the four-year university level.
- Wilson, a forward, signed to play at Arizona Christian University, an NAIA private Christian institution in Phoenix, AZ. They play out of the Golden State Athletic Conference. He will join teammate Travis Walker (Sabino HS) on the Firestorm.
- Wilson was named second team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II this season. He finished with 16 double-doubles in points and rebounds as he averaged 14.0 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. He also averaged 3.1 assists and played and started in all 36 games this season.
- Wilson upped his production after averaging 7.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in his freshman season. He played in all 36 games; making 22 starts. He helped the Aztecs earn runner-up and seventh place finishes at the NJCAA Division II Tournament. The Aztecs went 60-12 in his two years at Pima.
He is the fourth Aztecs men's basketball player to sign a four-year university letter of intent this off-season.
