Men's Soccer defender Pacheco signs to Siena College

Pima Community College men's soccer national champion Jacob Pacheco signed his national letter of intent on Friday and will receive a full scholarship to play NCAA Division I soccer.

  • Pacheco, a sophomore defender, will continue his collegiate career at Siena College, an independent Roman Catholic liberal arts college in Loudonville, Albany County New York.
  • Pacheco helped the Aztecs win the program's first NJCAA Division I National Championship and was one of the vocal leaders on defense. They gave up just 17 goals in 28 games. The Aztecs had 17 shutout victories; which included 12 in the final 15 games.

He scored two goals as he played in 27 games; making 25 starts in the backfield.
